Jesse Zaitchik NP

We are thrilled to welcome Jesse Zaitchik to our team at Porter Pediatrics. Jesse is a pediatric nurse practitioner who has approximately 10 years of clinical experience working with children of all ages. He received his B.A. in Psychology from the University of Massachusetts in Amherst and then went on to pursue his Masters in Nursing degree from the MGH School Of Health Professions. After graduating from MGH, he moved to Austin, Texas where he spent the first 7 years of his career. There, he worked in a wide variety of primary care and urgent care settings. After getting married, he and his wife moved back home to Boston where he took a full time faculty position at Boston University and Boston Medical Center. He functions as a primary care provider also helps run the urgent care service. In addition, he functions as an attending provider in the newborn nursery where he supervises interns and medical students on a regular basis. He also participated in a "mini fellowship" in pulmonology specializing in asthma management, so this is something that he is particularly passionate about.

In his free time, Jesse loves rooting for the Boston sports teams and checking out a wide variety of concerts and comedy shows. He and his wife are welcoming their first child this October!
